Hello!
this is an archive/shrine of my sonic obsession when I was a child. Here there are things such as music, videos, speeedpaints, art, and other things to capture my nostalgic blue blur!
Speedpaints
A huge aspect of the sonic fandom back in the day was speedpaints. MS Paint, Paint.Net, Paint Tool Sai, etc... it didn't matter!
Along with Windows Movie Maker and Unregistered Hypercam 2 anybody and everybody made their Sonic OC come to life! (me included lol)
For me, this was a huge way that I built my music taste as an adolecent. Alot of people would either put their personal favorite songs or
the Youtube editor music. This was commonplace for many fandoms back in the day as well! I recently found a video that touches on this subject very well.
Here is a playlist of some of my favorite speedpaints from roughly arround 2007-2011. Many of the ones I love have been deleted sadly, but these still are around! (I have also included some AMV's hehe)
Music
Sonic had some BANGING music, both classic and modern. I lisitened to
multitudes of it as a child. My first video game was acutally Shadow the Hedgehog
on the PS2 (hilarious I know) so my first sonic song was actually "I Am All of Me" by Crush 40.
The hold that Crush 40 and Zebrahead had on me as a child is unmatched. I
have many favorites so I've compiled a playlist of them!
